Whether through your employer or as an individual plan, vision insurance can help with the costs of your eye care from routine exams to prescription glasses and contacts.

Vision Care Plans

These plans only cover routine vision exams along with eyeglasses and contact lenses. It also only covers a basic screening of eye disease.

Medical Insurance Plans

Medical insurance must be used if you have any eye health problem or systemic health problems that has ocular complications. These plans may cover all or partial diagnosis, management, or treatment of eye diseases. Your doctor will determine if these conditions apply to you.

If you have both types of insurance plans it may be necessary for us to bill some services to one plan and other services to the other. We will use coordination of benefits to do this properly and to minimize your out-of-pocket expense.

Did you know that you can use your FSA?

FSAs allow you to appoint a portion of your pre-tax income into an account you can use to pay for medical expenses not covered by your regular health insurance plan—including eye care.
