Dr. K is a professional member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim Lam grew up in Houston, TX and graduated with the academic distinction of Cum Laude from the University of Houston, with a BBA in Business Management and a Minor in International Asian Studies in 2005.
Doctorate
Dr. K completed her optometric training and graduation with her Doctorate of Optometry at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2016. There she served as Committee Chair for ‘Optometry Giving Sight’ and the ‘Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity’, providing eye exams to underserved areas all over the world. She also served in the AOA’s House of Delegates to fight for equal opportunity in optometric laws.
Professional Memberships
Dr. K is a professional member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. K works well with children of all ages, even as young as 6 months, and adults of all ages as well, customizing the eye exam to the special needs of the patient. She is fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese, as well as English. Dr. K is also actively involved with the Lions Club and working with the community to give back.
